LaVilla Bouffiou Amet, 92, of Tacoma, WA, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2017.
LaVilla was born in Austin, Minnesota to Myrtle and Alfred Smith on January 24, 1925.
LaVilla is survived by her children Paulette Alvarado (Mike), Carl Bouffiou (Vickie), and Ted Bouffiou (Bonnie), eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Dennis Bouffiou (Cindy) and husband Elwood (Buff) Bouffiou and husband Victor Amet.
LaVilla loved to play cards and dance. She and Buff, her husband of 46 years, belonged to a pinochle club for over 25 years. She also loved the senior dances where she met her husband Victor.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Living Life and the Gravelly Lake Adult Family Homes for their exceptional care.
A celebration of LaVilla’s life will be held from 2 t0 4 pm on Sunday, May 21st at The Mountaineers Hall, 2302 N. 30th St, Tacoma.
