Thursday, June 8, 2017I met Kristen in Hinesville Georgia when my ex husband and I were stationed at Ft. Stewart. Kristen and her then husband were stationed there at the same time. That was one of the roughest most heartbreaking times of my life for different reasons and she was the one friend I had in Georgia when I was lonely and upset. She would invite me over for movies and girl time. Actually the first time we got together I sat at the emergency room with her and I was so dazzled by her upbeat personality and glass half full attitude. No one wants to be in the emergency room but she took it in stride, cracking jokes and thanking the nurses for their help. What an extraordinary woman! She was a light and a friend during one of the most painful times in my life and for that I am forever grateful. What a beautiful soul taken too early. My condolences to those closest to her. And many congratulations on the beautiful little girl she sacrificed her body to give life to. What an amazing mother.
