Obituary of Judith Keeton
Judith Kay Markley Keeton, devoted Christian, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend went home to Jesus on May 23, 2017 with her loving family by her side.
Judy was born in Tacoma, Washington on June 15, 1943 to Lionel and Mary (Stewart) Markley. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1961. On January 17, 1964, she married Arthur Ronald Keeton at the Sixth Avenue Baptist Church, where she worked as a secretary. Judy loved Bible study at church and friend’s houses. With that beautiful smile and sparkling blue eyes, she made friends easily and had a lot of them. She worked as a food service supervisor and after retirement she moved to Ontario, California to be closer to her children and grandchildren.
Her parents, one brother, and three sisters precede her in death. Still cherishing her memory are her son, Arthur R. Keeton Jr. (Rebecca); daughter, Lisa Keeton (Jon); granddaughters, Amaya Keeton and Rachel Maines; grandsons, Mason Dial and Nathan Lara of California; three sisters, Starlene Gregory of Wenatchee, Washington, Rose Mary Markley of Oroville, Washington, and Kristi Helms (James) of Kannapolis, North Carolina.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at New Tacoma Cemetery, 9221 Chambers Creek Road West, University Place, Washington.
